There is no need to choose between comfort and style. Our wide range of women's shoes has both!
Since 1999, 12th Street Shoes has been matching unique women with the perfect shoes. The store was founded by Donna Varner, founder Blue Horizon Clothing.
Donna was a vibrant woman with a great sense of style, and hand-decorated the store antiques from shops in Bellingham. Donna sold the store in 2002 due to her struggle with ALS. Unfortunately, Donna passed away in 2005, but her amazing sense of style lives on through 12th Street Shoes.
Jody Finnegan purchased the store in 2003, after “retiring” from engineering. Looking for a break from chemicals and calculations, she found a passion in fashion and footwear. In 2005, the store doubled in size while still keeping its charming atmosphere and excellent customer service.
Jody has worked hard to continue traditions created by Donna, including an annual shoe drive to benefit the YWCA’s Back to Work Boutique in Bellingham, and involvement with local charities that strive to support women in the community.
The store carries lines including Clarks, Dansko, Born, Bussola, Fidji, Earthies, and Ahnu.
