πA Very Happy Thanksgiving to...

πWe are thankful for you.
{FEEDING THE FRONTLINES}π©ββοΈπ§ββοΈπ¨ββοΈπ₯π©Ίπ
When the pandemic hit in March 2020, like so many others, we wanted to do something for the frontline workers at our local hospitals.
2nd Family - Main Line's Director of Nursing, Emily Glowacki created our Feeding the Frontlines initiative and we were floored with the response it got from so many of you! Partnering with local restaurants and businesses, we were able to provide meals for the staff at local hospitals in several healthcare systems including Jefferson Health, Penn Medicine, Main Line Health & more!
Fast forward nearly 9 months later and our healthcare workers are still fighting every day as Covid continues to surge. This second wave is a hard pill to swallow, but they are muscling through and providing the very best care for Covid patients day in & day out.
And so we're back!
Feeding the Frontlines at Jefferson Health...
...delivering the fuel that will help them keep going!
πͺπͺπͺπͺπͺ
Feeding the Frontlines received an incredibly generous donation from Eastern Pennsylvania Youth Soccer.
With that, we were able to deliver delicious meals, from Bittersweet Kitchen in Media, to the entire Emergency Department, The "Swab Squad," 3 Covid units, all of the case managers and environmental staff on each unit.
For a few moments, these brave men & women know the love & respect that this community has for them, that we are rooting for them, cheering them on...
TO ALL OF OUR HEALTHCARE WORKERS...
WE ARE THANKFUL FOR YOUπππ
Warmest wishes for your health & safety...
...and a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Spoiler alert.
