Korina Galaraga is a physical therapist at 39th Ave Physical Therapy. It’s her distinct pleasure to serve patients of all ages from Queens, New York’s diverse population.
Korina’s medical career began at the Fatima Medical Science Foundation, where she earned her bachelor’s of science degree in physical therapy. She graduated in 1997 and has worked as a physical therapist ever since.
She has worked at several outpatient physical therapist facilities, including the Arthritis and Orthopedic Medical Center, AllMed Rehab, and Best Care Physical Therapy and Chiropractic. In 2014, she furthered her education by attending the University of Montana, Missoula. She graduated from the university in 2016, walking away with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
Now Korina serves at 39th Ave Physical Therapy, where she handles everything from planning patient care programs to helping them on the road to recovery. She particularly enjoys encouraging her patients as they’re performing exercises, so they can maintain high spirits as they work through their physical obstacles.
