This is going to be #wallart. The wood is a piece of #decaying #pecan that was found on local #beach in #texas. We first poured 1.5 liters of @ecopoxy #flowcast with #caribbean #maui #metalicpigments. This was poured on #friday (10/9/2020). We then poured 6 liter of #crystal #clear FlowCast on 10/10/20202. The pour is 100% free of #microbubbles. Absolutely clear! As you can see from the photo the wood was highly porous. #zero micro bubbles, with only one bubble on the top of the pour which will be #sanded away! We had an opportunity to use the Akfix D3 super glue yesterday. Extremely impressed! The D3 is thick and fast setting. Even with #glue on both sides of our glue up, the glue did not drip all over our glue rack. Previously we always used Tite Bond III. We swore by it and it was all we used for years, not anymore. D3 is the glue we grab for now. We will do video next week of us using the D3. Disclosure, we sell the Akfix product line. @Akfix is available on our website. Exciting day! We just finished machining our largest custom HDPE mold, 60” X 30” X 3”. We use 3/4” HDPE! The mold is just massive. Will weight close to 100 pounds. Client is getting 1 - 60” divider, 2 -30” dividers, 6 hold down bars, 12 spacers and 2 additional piece of HDPE that are 3” X 30” for them to be able sub-divide the mold even more.
