This article expresses our concern with Allergy filters for homeowners that they install in their furnace. We don't recommend using the high efficiency Allergen filters. Article is 6 years old but we have more and more service calls of a homes' furnace not functioning, only to find it was getting to hot and shutting down of the high limit safety due to these Allergy filters.

Surely going to be a very popular topic this season with Covid. This is from the owners manual of a Honeywell humidifier. Even though you want a nice, comfortable home you can not have that high of humidity in extreme cold outside temps. Just for an example, most windows will frost up heavily at -20 outside if its not below 20% humidity in the house.
