There is a lot of confusion about the re-opening of Courts for in person hearings after June 1st. There WILL NOT be any jury trials until after August 1st per the orders of the Texas Supreme Court.
1. ZOOM is still the preferred hearing method.
2. After June 1, ZOOM will be used unless it is an emergency or impractical.
3. If there is an in-person hearing the following shall apply:
*The maximum number of people allowed in the court room will be limited to ensure appropriate social distancing.
*It is requested that parties not bring spectators to hearings.
*At the main entrance individuals will be asked if they have been ill or had a fever, if possible, a thermal scanner will be used. If you have a fever please RESCHEDULE YOUR HEARING.
*Sanitizing stations will be near the main entrance and outside the courtroom. (Use is encouraged)
*Everyone will be expected to maintain an appropriate distance in elevators and hallways
*Masks are encouraged to be worn. The County WILL NOT be able to provide everyone with a mask.
*Courtrooms will be cleaned as is practical
*Each judge will be responsible for the operation of her/his Courtroom. If you have questions about the Court conducting in-person hearings, contact the Court Coordinator preferably by email.
A copy of the re-opening plan will be posted on-line. Be patient. This is new territory for all of us.

Many years ago I helpEd a client get out of a sad situation. Every year he still brings my staff and I flowers at Christmas and Easter. We are all in hard times right now. The beautiful blooming Lilly reminds me that there is hope. The love is in the resurrection. Happy Easter everyone.

Missing Person
On 1/22/2021 Deputies responded to a residence for a female, identified as Lielani Clack, suffering from severe depression. Prior to Deputies arrival Lielani left the residence on foot. Lielani left all her belongings at the residence including her cell phone, wallet, and vehicle. Lielani has not been seen or heard from since this incident. Lielani is approximately 5'8" around 150 pounds with Brown hair and Brown eyes. Leilani was last seen wearing a black hoodie with blue jeans and black tennis shoes.
