A quick update going over where we're at and where we're headed as the country recovers from the pandemic.

We’ve worked hard this year to help kids and families with their vision. We’ve helped educate others about kids unique needs. We can’t stop now....this year is 20/20 but next year is 20/20+1. It will be even better! Keep sharing! Tell kids how cool and amazing they look in their glasses. High five those super patchers; kids who wear an eye patch every day! Make sure kids get eye exams early and make sure you do too. Our eyes are so important and just like brushing your teeth, they require care too. Vote for your vision

One of the best reminders for those that face hard times and struggles is to know you are not alone. Kids who patch their eyes to treat amblyopia and other vision disorders need to know this one simple thing...they are not alone! When a child wears an eye patch, it can be uncomfortable, they suffer decreased vision and they often feel all alone in their struggle. That’s why support groups for families with amblyopia are so important. When I child sees another child patching, or maybe a kitty like me, they know they can do it too! Post a picture of your patching kiddo or make a patch and post a picture of yourself, patch a stuffed animal and take a picture! Today is about telling kids who suffer from amblyopia that they are NOT alone!
Our office will be closed December 24th - 26th for Christmas and December 31st - January 2nd for New Years. We will be taking appointments for December 28th and 29th and we'll resume normal scheduling on January 4th.
Huge thanks to everyone who's help us during this tough year. We hope that everyone has a much better 2021!
