We are Opening June 22nd
We are so excited that we will soon be able to Open. June 22nd is the date! We are not making appointments yet as we are waiting for the Governor's guidelines. We will try to accomodate everyone the best we can, however it will not be possible to get everyone in on the first day. We will have restrictions and will also have to do extensive cleaning in between clients. Once we know the capacity of how many can be in our salon we will make a schedule for our staff. We will book accordingly.
Just a few things we have been doing to get ready:
The salon is being thoroughly cleaned and sanitize with clutter being removed. No more magazines or books.
We purchased a UV light that works on killing germs throughout the salon.
We also invested in a touchless thermometer, disposible capes, face shields, hand sanitizer, touchless soap dispenser, and other types of PPE for the salon.
What we do know is :
that you will be expected to arrive 5 minutes before your appointment and call us upon arrival. We will check you in and call you when your seat is sanitized and ready for you.
Please leave belongings in your car other than form of payment, cell phone and keys.
Upon entering we will take your temperature. You will need to wear a mask. If your temperature is ok, you will then go to the restroom and wash your hands for 30 seconds.
We will then seat you and you will fill out a questionare about your health, potential exposue and risk which will be signed before we start your service.
The shampoo area will be a no talking zone. Please just enjoy your shampoo.
Once we find out the guidlines we will inform everyone of all the details.
As I have followed other states, I am assuming we will need 15 minutes between every client to sanitze and prepare all items for the next client.
Some states are not doing blow dries.
This seems to hold the most risk blowing the air around the clients. I will make a decision about that after I hear our states rules. I am not sure if we will wait until all mask restrictions are over to resume to our normal services.
We are going to limit the talk time , which will be very hard as we have develped relationships with all of our clients. For a more extensive consultation we may provide a virtual consult over facetime.
I am sure with everyone needing everything we will need a little extra time with all of you. All of our Stylists have been known to give unlimited time to our clients. We intend to give a great service but we will have time restrictions due to all we need to do to service everyone.
All of our clients will have to be certain to arrive on time or it can result in having to reschedule your appointment.
These are just some of the things we will be doing.
Many of you have reached out. I will be looking at those who missed appointments starting from March 20th, and contacting everyone to reschedule.
We plan to work real hard to accomodate the best we can, and will be open more hours at least through the end of July to get everyone in.
We will be in touch soon and can't wait to get back to work!
Some new colors and cuts!
