About

OPEN VIRTUALLY: A Frog House is like a light house that attracts people hungry for conservation education and action. Margot Fass MD opened A Frog House on the Erie Canal towpath in Pittsford NY on October 20, 1918. From there, she’s formed alliances with local governments and organizations to protect regional wetlands from encroaching development and pollutants. A Frog House offers lively family events, presentations for both adults and children, and participates in community events, educating about climate change, environmental protections, and safe land practices. Frogs are near the bottom of the food chain, and saving frog habitat has wide reaching and beneficial results to water, soil, flora and fauna. Besides, they are so darned cute!
