Here's a Maserati Quattroporte we had in the shop to remove a bunch of swirl marks with a paint correction after the correction we applied IGL Quartz for the added protection against the elements. The Quarz is actually a ceramic coating that offers up to 2 years of protection. We smoked the tail lights and did a chrome delete around the vehicle.

1954 Mercury Montery Extreme Paint Correction
This 1954 Mercury Montery needed a major paint correction. We taped everything to keep from burning edges. The car had scratches, wet sanding marks and areas of the paint that were just dull. After a wash and clay bar we started wet sanding the areas with heavy orange peel above and below the chrome moldings, we removed the rear trunk lid emblems to have a better chance of cutting down the orange peel texture around the emblems. We used IGL F4 compound with microfiber cutting pads, our second and 3rd step was 3M Perfect-it compound and polish. We still have to finish polishing and sealing with black fire sealant.
