Scams on the rise! Many of us in this industry often hear about these scams, but often it's after-the-fact. I encourage all of my clients to call me when in doubt of a potential scam. Email scams are getting more clever and scary. Phone scams are still on the rise and seem to be very convincing. The best advise is that Microsoft, Dell, Google, Apple, and many others won't call you out of the blue to let you know you have a problem. In fact, it's usually very hard to get in touch with these companies. Don't be fooled by these crooks and when in doubt, call your friendly neighborhood computer repair folks and verify with them if it's legit or not. Don't wait until it's too late!
