Pablo is a 4 year old American Staffordshire Terrier who originally came to the shelter after being found as a stray in early December of last year, and recently returned to the shelter after his previous home didn’t work out. Pablo is a goofy, energetic dog looking for a perfect furever home to fit his needs! Pablo has done well with other dogs his size or larger, but needs a home without smaller animals and young children as he can be a bit much for them. Pablo absolutely loves to go for walks with our volunteers, and gets even more excited to run zoomies in our exercise yards! Pablo loves his treats and already knows ‘sit’ & will be a quick learner - as long as treats are involved! Pablo’s ideal home is one where he’ll go for lots of long walks, runs and adventures, but still make time to hit the snooze button in the morning & cuddle up next to you at night. If this sweet dog sounds like a perfect match, come meet Pablo at HHS today!

Say hello to Chloe! Chloe is a 3 month old kitten, who originally came to HHS after being found as a stray in mid-December of last year. Chloe came to us as an unweaned, abandoned kitten, so we quickly found her a foster home to help prepare her for her forever home! According to her foster mom, Chloe is a sweet girl who loves to snuggle and doesn’t mind being held. She isn’t picky about her food and loves to eat, has been an indoor-only cat in her foster home and is fully litter-box trained. Chloe has been living with three other cats & would love to go to a home with another cat to keep her company and give her a playmate, but also does well entertaining herself! Chloe is a very confident kitten, despite having a malformed right front paw that she was likely born with. If you’re looking to add a new cat to your family and want to meet this sweet, playful girl, please contact our Foster Coordinator at fostertransfer@halifaxhumanesociety.org to set something up!
