We're hiring! We're looking for a Life Insurance Specialist to join the AAA Ohio team.
PURPOSE:
Promote and sell AAA Insurance Agency life insurance products and services, respond to questions and problems of members/insureds, process changes to policies as requested by insureds.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, & EXPECTATIONS:
1.) Practice sound industry and business ethics, adhering to the Ohio Auto Club’s commitment to integrity and providing quality products and services.
2.) Learn product features, marketing and sales techniques necessary to perform duties and achieve monthly sales goals as outlined in the Life Insurance Specialist Pay for Performance Plan.
3.) Develop leads and prospects for the purpose of converting them to Life Insurance policyholders. Pursue and secure new business and additional product sales opportunities by following OAC’s Leads Management program via the appropriate mode of communication.
4.) Cross-sell current property and casualty (P&C) clients, systematically working through entire book of business in addition to engaging with new clients as part of onboarding strategy.
5.) Assess clients’ needs and goals and recommend appropriate products.
6.) Generate auto, home and business leads for P&C agents.
7.) Maintain current knowledge of AAA membership benefits in order to promote membership and cross-sell it.
8.) Conduct product and sales seminars for members, commercial clients and sales staff as required.
9.) Follow internal process procedures to ensure that transactions are handled in accordance with company and agency policies, practices and guidelines.
10.) Actively participate in industry societies and community organizations to promote AAA.
11.) Attend internal training and meetings as required.
12.) Meet continuing education requirements to maintain Ohio Property and Casualty license as well as tracking and notifying Ohio State Department of Insurance that requirements have been met.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, SPECIFIC ABILITIES:
1.) Ohio Life Insurance license required.
2.) 2 years of Life Insurance sales experience in and Insurance environment or related industry (financial services, banking, etc.) or equivalent.
3.) Strong sales skills and ability to meet sales goals.
4.) Some college preferred or equivalent work experience.
5.) Personable, out-going, professional demeanor.
6.) Excellent communication skills to include ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
7.) Strong analytical skills to enable agent to determine appropriate products.
