Take heed. Many bad people have been released from jails as a result of COVID. People are unemployed and desperate. If you are bumped while driving, especially if there is no clear reason for it, call 911 immediately. Find a safe place to pull over (if you believe it is safe to do so) where there are witnesses, a police or fire department, a crowded parking lot. Don't assume it was just an "accident."

Original Story: Park Ranger Eryn Staib was in uniform and on duty at Hanging Rock State Park. Upon hearing a motorcycle driving on Lower Cascades hiking trail, Ranger Staib engaged in conversation with a white male age 20-30 motorcyclist wearing a black helmet with a clear visor.
After a short conversation about motor vehicles being prohibited on trails, the motorcyclist started his engine and purposefully ran over Ranger Staib, causing her bodily injury.

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Analysa Skylar Dale, 14-year-old female, who was reported missing this morning, January 21, 2021, shortly after midnight. She was last seen in the Patterson Grove Rd. area of Ramseur and reportedly left on foot headed south from her residence. She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, black and pink t-shirt, gray hooded jacket, and black shoes. She is approximately 120 lbs., 5’ tall, brown hair, and brown eyes.
If anyone has seen or has any information leading to the location or welfare of Dale, please contact 9-1-1 or the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office at 336-318-6698.
