BIO
Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. A beautiful treasure that’s tucked away in the Rocky Mountains, surrounded by gorgeous lakes and lush forests - and I was fortunate enough to be born here. As a result, I have a love for art, nature, and an appreciation for small town culture that you can’t find anywhere else.
What used to be one of the best kept secrets in the country is quickly changing – just like the seasons here. The city is now a bustling tourist destination and home to more than 40 thousand people. There may be a number of beautiful places in the world but I couldn’t imagine calling anywhere else home. Like we like to say around here – it’s Idahome.
At the age of 12 I picked up my first camera. I started looking at everything as if it were a frame – climbing trees and laying in precarious positions – just to get that perfect shot.
Over the years, both my style and images have evolved. Thanks to the internet, I’m able to look at photos from all over the world (mainly through Instagram). I use these for inspiration and it’s proven to be an amazing resource.
I don’t limit myself to one genre of photography, mostly because I don’t see the point in that. What I love about photography is the ability to capture anything and everything. To capture something that happens, only for a fraction of a second, and freeze it forever.
Every sunset, much like a fingerprint, is different. Every image you capture – whether laughter or tears – conveys genuine, raw emotion. I am so grateful for those who allow me to capture those moments to have for the rest of their lives.
