Sometimes as we are learning, growing, and trying new things it feels as if we will never get it. Why is change SO hard? Why is growth such a struggle? Yet when we stop and look back at our journey it is there. Change. It may appear like a tiny change but it is a change and it proves it IS possible. Two things I know confidently is there is always hope and change happens! What little steps have you made that you need to take the time to notice and celebrate. You are doing it! π«π
Take some time today to listen and support a young person in your life. Times are hard. This pandemic has changed many things for them. School, activities, sports and routines. Their struggles are real and valid. Let them know you see them and how proud you are of them. They need you. β¨π Share this with someone you care about.

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. On September 10th, World Suicide Prevention Day, we light a candle near a window at 8 PM to show support for suicide prevention, remember a lost loved one, and honor survivors. Together, we can prevent suicide.

When you feel stressed, overwhelmed, or scared bring in the calm.
Some moments may feel harder than others, but the calm can be found and is within reach.
Spending 5 to 10 minutes or more visualizing a calming place you have traveled, visited, or felt safe in may give you that calm. What do you see, hear, smell, feel, and taste. Really take it in and feel that peace envelope you and allow your mind and body to relax.

Find that space or place to make your own and create your safe calming place today.
It does not need to be fancy just a place or corner inside or outside where you can find moments of calm.
Once you have created this space use it often when life feels overwhelming or to reconnect and get some clarity.
Sometimes we may need a professional therapist or counselor to help point us in that direction. That is okay and completely healthy to reach out for help. π
