I used cog threads on her mid and lower face to lift and tighten the skin on the lower jaw and mid face. I softened her nasolabial folds quite nicely. It’s self-care Saturday. I’m making fresh sea moss for @ayannanelsonfreeman and I; washing clothes; conditioning my hair; detoxing my skin; and recovering from what seems like a really long week.

The full moon really had me churning this week. My sleep was interrupted and I had vivid dreams a lot when I did sleep. There was lots of shadow work and release. I had to let a lot of stuff go that wasn’t serving me any longer. It’s amazing how my skin and body reacted to the change. I had back spasms, got my first fever blister in 5 years, and my chin broke out. Jeez. Growth is a full body experience.

So, I said all that to say... Being grown is fucking hard. Adulting is for the birds. So, take it easy on yourselves. Do the hard stuff, but remember to reset and relax. You can’t run at top speed all the time. Get some acupuncture or a massage. Turn off the TV and read. Take a stupid long bath. You deserve it.
