Another day, another celebration. Sarah had her birthday this week and Heather has been a dental assistant with us for a year now!

Time flies ✈️, Dr. Johnson has been exactly one year with us 🥳 and Binh just had her 11 year anniversary with us 😮. We all are excited and thankful to have them on our team. Thank you both for being fantastic people to work with 😍

Top Tips I share with my Patients:
1. Brush at the gumline at a 45 degree angle.
2. An electric toothbrush is more effective than a manual one
3. Change your toothbrush heads every 3months
4. Floss daily to the bottom of the gums gently
5. Brush the tongue too!

Here are Porscha's Top Tips:
1. It is not always what you eat or drink that makes a healthy mouth, its the frequency as well.
2. Yes fluoride is for adults, as adults we sometimes have worse diets and are more relaxed on ourselves (usually).
3. Only floss the teeth you want to keep.
4. Put the Sonicare in your mouth BEFORE you turn it on!
(or toothpaste goes everywhere)
5. Use your tongue as a guide. If your teeth have "sweaters"
then go back and brush them again!

These are Andrea's Tips for Dental Hygiene Month, and she will pick the winner this Friday!
1) When flossing make a "c" shape and hug your tooth
and do 2-3 strokes up and down.
2) You know that we eat drink and go to the bathroom daily. So does your bacteria in your mouth!
3 ) Try to drink more water after eating meals to help get mouth back to neutral ph.
4) Brush your teeth at a 45 degree angle in small circular motion.
5) Use regular floss because floss picks can't be cleaned and you are just moving plaque to each tooth you floss.
When I get told I floss but my gums are still bleeding:
This was happening to me and I switched back to regular floss!
