My father, Karl Vella, opened The Floor Trader flooring retail store in Lafayette, LA over twenty years ago; that’s where you can find me most days. Over the last ten years, the need for area rugs has grown. Carpet as a wall-to-wall flooring option has decreased over time, but carpet has a place in every home or business. Acadiana Carpet Binding was established to fill a need when a standard size area rug just won’t do. ACB can take any type of carpet and make it into an area rug that is a custom fit for any space; and we absolutely love getting creative too! We can carve initials into your rug, seam various colors/patterns together, bind borders in your perfect color, and so much more!
