All of us at Accel Imaging Systems, Inc. are blessed to be part of something that is more than just a LOCAL copier company. We are directly helping the communities we grew up in and do business in. Delivering incredible amounts of food for overwhelmed food banks and emergency distribution centers. Today we moved approximately 18,000 pounds in our trucks bringing us up over 50 tons of emergency food And supplies delivered in the DFW area. It hurts the soul to see the long lines of Texans in need but refreshes the soul to serve them. As April, my beautiful wife of 29 years and 1 day put in the front windows of the house we have worked hard to make a home and raised our amazing children in #weareinthistogether if you know of anyone in needs let us know

Last night I took my wife April to eat at Lucille's Cafe on Old Camp Bowie to celebrate the 30th anniversary of our first date. I met her in that building 30 years ago when it was a Black Eyed Pea Restaurant. I was tending bar there and going to school, she was a hostess evenings and weekends as a second job. I was instantly head over heals and after a few weeks worked up the nerve to ask her out for valentines but it had to be on Thursday before the Friday night valentines fell on like it does this year. She said yes then went home and started to back out. She couldn’t figure out what kind of guy would ask someone out not only on a Thursday night but the Thursday that valentines Friday night followed? Fortunately for me her Aunt explained to her, the kind of guy paying his own way through school and for his truck by bartending at the same place you work! Friday and Saturday will be his big tip nights he’s not missing the biggest date night a bartender gets! Fortunately for me Lesa saved the day! She had spaghetti with meatballs and meat sauce I can tell you every detail of that night. I dropped her off kissed her good night and we have been forever since.
