This year we have seen more customers who have been victims of auto theft. Most of them were vehicles that were running and they ran in for a second or there were keys in the vehicle. Do NOT leave keys in your vehicle when not attended. If you are going to leave it idling for a short time, then make sure you have a 2nd set you keep and lock the vehicle when you leave it. Though I wouldn't recommend that.
It's also critical to have at least a back up copy of all your keys these days. Lost keys for vehicles can be very expensive and may take a couple days or require the dealer for some European cars or rare models.
BTW: We are still on our regular schedule of M-F, 8:30-5:30

Bellingham, Whatcom law enforcement seeing increase in car thefts during pandemic
Great news! Tacos El Tule (El Riconcito) truck is Re-Opened starting today!
We are operating at a limited level, but are duplicating keys, rekeying locks, running service calls for emergencies and various other work.
Lately we've had a number of house closings where the new owners have needed the locks rekeyed. We've also been working on various project vehicles people have, collector/ old vehicles that need keys/ locks or keying the locks all the same.
We ask that you stop at the front door and knock, we will be there to help you. You can also call first or if you have some lock questions.

Tacos El Tule is reopening the taco truck on Meridian & Orchard, but not at our location.
Tacos El Tule shared a post to the group: Bellingham Open.
March 30 at 2:17 AM ·
After taking the last 10 days off to determine the best and safest way to proceed with things, we have decided to reopen Tacos El Tule Meridian, starting Tomorrow Morning March 30th. Unfortunately our Downtown Location will remain closed for the time being. To make sure we are doing our part to stay ahead of the curve we have implemented further safety precautions to help reduce the spread of germs. You may notice mask, gloves and other preventive measures to ensure we are doing everything we can to not only keep ourselves safe and healthy, but give you guys the comfort of knowing we’re doing it for all of you as well. We know that not everyone may agree with our decision to return with everything going on, and we respect that. However, with our Meridian Location, a large majority of our clientele is Medical Staff, Nurses, Drs. CNA’s, Lab Techs, Hospital Staff, as well as Truck Drivers and Warehouse Workers from the Cold Storages. These are the essential workers that we have taken up the pleasure of serving over the last couple of years. These are the essential workers that are putting in endless hours trying to keep up with things. These are the essential workers that we support and want to be able to continue to provide for. We also know moms and dads alike are probably needing, a reason to get out of the house for a few moments. So a quick trip to the Taco Truck might just relieve a little bit of stress for everyone!
We STRONGLY Suggest the use of our quick and easy Online Ordering that is attached to our website www.tacoseltule.com Place your order then pick up and pay at the back window! We also do call in orders @ (360) 595-4450 (Again Online Orders HIGHLY Recommended) We will still also be taking on the large company Burrito Orders with the same 24 hour notice policy.
We absolutely appreciate all the support and are excited to be back doing what we love to do.
With the governor's order, we are restricting service to emergency service. We're not sure how long this will last, but for now, if it's something that can wait and you're able to secure and have access -maybe through another door, if it's functional, then maybe it can wait. Lock-outs, rekeying locks to prevent those with keys, repairs to secure or make functional again, are a priority.
It would be best to call first. If you stop by, the door is locked, knock and we will check to see what the situation is.
