Finish installed a new circle brickmould and combination door. While the new main door is white oak stained and varnished. It retains the original glass and decorative strap hardware. At the same time using a new lock and hinges for smooth operation. Also adding modern cushion weather striping to the existing door jamb to block out the elements.
Replacement of drafty, inoperable basement sash in crawlspace. Now they can have some ventilation while doing future plumbing repairs.
A few of the recent doors we've made and installed. Painted pine combination storm/screen doors. Along with a White oak 10 raised pannel door for a local church.

Storm windows are the best solution in protecting existing window units from extreme weather conditions such as the bitter cold, driving rain, high winds, or hail. The addition of an old fashioned wood storm window will improve the efficiency of most any window, particularly those with true divided lites, leaded glass, or stained glass.
The goal of the Acker Combination is to offer a storm window that is both energy efficient AND convenient for any user to operate. With the appearance similar to that of an old-fashioned storm sash, the Acker Combination remains true to the exterior architecture that is characteristic of older homes and buildings. However, it eliminates the need to go outside since the storm and screen inserts are interchangeable from inside the home.
