So proud of the tile, carpet and resilient we did at Country House in Cedar Rapids in 2019
Highlighting a job we completed last year with Bi State Contracting at Christine Grant Elementary in North Liberty, where we did the tile, carpet and resilient.
3 recent, local carpet tile jobs using Patcraft,Mannington and Mohawk carpet at Robert Half, Windstar and Corridor Motors
We are working a very cool project down in the Amanas with Compass Commercial Services. It's a historic project and has a combination of wood, Mannington carpet tile, Mohawk LVP, American Olean tile and concrete floors. Here are some progress photos of the Woolen Mill, a renovated hotel coming to the area.

COVID-19 is not the flu. Ryan and I are two healthy adults. A 35 y.o. and a 34 y.o. with no pre-existing conditions, and zero risk factors.
Ryan is on day 16. He’s lost 10lbs and had 9 days of fever. On day 13, he was so short of breath, he couldn’t read a children’s book to Iris, couldn’t even finish a sentence without gasping for air. He was evaluated in the ED and found to have worsening pneumonia. His oxygen saturations stayed above 90% and so there was nothing else they could do for him. They sent him home with the recommendation of continuing his medications that had been prescribed by his PCP (antibiotic, steroid, cough medicine and inhaler) and told him to return if his oxygen was below 90% or his heart rate was over 130bpm. Thankfully, on day 14, his symptoms improved. He was able to walk a block (he only made it a block!), and his oxygen dropped to 89%, but quickly returned to mid-90s with pursed lip breathing. He lifted Iris out of the bath tub and dropped to 92%. On day 15, his doctor said his lungs sound better and she’s hopeful he will continue to improve. He’s still not strong enough to go back to teaching, so that will be the 3rd week he is off.
I’m on day 12 of symptoms. A symptom I forgot to mention in my last post is numbness and tingling in both of my hands (left more than right). On day 9, the tingling stopped and my left arm went numb up to my shoulder. I also noticed a headache on the right side. COVID-19 can cause blood clots (PEs, heart attacks, strokes, etc). I was also evaluated in the ED. Thankfully, my labs, EKG, head CT and MRI were normal. I was discharged and by 8 o’clock that evening, my headache was severe and I was dropping objects from my left hand. Because of the symptoms I’ve had and my family history, it was recommended that I start taking a baby aspirin. Now on day 12, my headache is gone and I only have numbness in my left hand.
COVID-19 IS NOT THE FLU!! Will Ryan have permanent lung damage? When will the numbness in my hand go away? NO ONE KNOWS. Ryan and I were two healthy adults. PLEASE follow the rules of the pandemic. Think about how your actions will affect other people. #stayhome #wearamask #washyourhands
