Practice Update April 24, 2020
Thank you for your continued patience as we continue to navigate these unprecedented times together. The practice is open on a limited basis to all of our patients needing podiatric care.
We are still offering virtual visits as well. If you have an upcoming appointment we will be getting in touch with you to offer you a televisit appointment if it is appropriate. We encourage you to consider a telehealth appointment prior to making an appointment to be see in the office. We will send you very simple instructions for your visit and all you need is WIFI, a phone with a camera or a computer. We have done several visits for patients in the last month with great success.
The health and safety of our patients is of paramount importance. For those patients who need to be seen in the office the following measures have been taken to ensure your safety:
All staff members are wearing masks.
The office is cleaned and sanitized between every patient.
Patients will be escorted directly to their treatment rooms- no sitting in the waiting room
We are now processing all transactions, paperwork etc, in the treatment room rather than at the front desk to limit contact.
Only one patient is allowed in the office every 30 minutes.
Hand sanitizer is available throughout the office as well as soap and sinks for handwashing.
Hand sanitizer is also available upon exit of the buildings next to the automatic doors.
If you are visiting the office we ask the following of you:
If you or anyone in your household has been sick, coughing, runny nose, fever, body aches or diagnosed with Coronavirus, or been exposed to anyone who is sick please cancel your appointment and we will gladly reschedule you after a 14 day period has passed.
Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment unless they are essential to your transportation or care.
Please do not arrive early or you will be asked to wait in the lobby.
Please DO NOT WEAR GLOVES into our office. We work very hard to keep our office clean and do not want the cross contamination of what may be outside of our office in our office. This ensures your safety and ours.
If you have a mask or face cover we encourage you to wear it to your visit.
SURGERY PATIENTS: While the governor has encouraged elective surgeries at this point, I do not feel that is in the best interest of our patients’ safety and those surgeries will likely be rescheduled for June or July. We will contact those patients individually.
LASER PATIENTS:
We will also be contacting laser patients individually to schedule appointments.
SPA PATIENTS:
The spa is OPEN for foot care and pedicures only. NO MANICURES will be permitted at this time. We are offering free shipping on dazzle dry pedicure/manicure kits. We also have a video of proper application that we can send to you for instruction. In addition, we are offering free virtual visits with our Medical Nail technician to assist in home pedicures/manicures with any purchase of spa products.
