Actors Film Academy is Utah's most comprehensive acting and training school taught by real professionals who make a living in show business. Our 3200 square foot studio has green screens, film sets, offices, a kitchen and parking for 12 vehicles as well as back lot for filming outside. We also have all of the equipment used in producing movies and television shows.
All our classes are filmed and students get to audition on camera as well as act out complex scenes with props, other actors and real life movie making scenarios. All of their footage is edited into professional acting reels and used for studying their capabilities.
Our lead instructor Joseph James (The Freemason, Templar Nation, Highway) is and award winning actor and producer. He is a professional and has worked with star like Sean Astin( Lord of the Rings,Rudy, Goonies) Eric Estrada (Chips) and Brenden Fraser (The Mummy, Encino Man) as well as many other stars.
Born in Utah, Joseph James spent several years in Hollywood acting in and producing movies and television shows. He brings years of experience to each class and teaches each actress and actor how to book roles and make hundreds of dollars a day doing what they love.
