Dr. Adam Cavallero is a primary care physician who practices in Thousand Oaks. He is board certified in internal medicine, and uses a multidisciplinary approach to diagnose and treat complex conditions. He is fluent in Spanish, and is a strong advocate for his patients and their families.
Dr. Cavallero received his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Mexico and New York Medical College. During his medical education, he was named chief of the pre-internship program at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, where he was named senior resident of the year in 2012. He received his undergraduate degree from Westmont College in Santa Barbara.
Before coming to UCLA Health, Dr. Cavallero practiced primary care outpatient medicine at the Sansum Clinic in Santa Barbara and hospitalist medicine at Lompoc Valley Medical Center in Santa Barbara County.
When he's not in the office, Dr. Cavallero enjoys spending time with his family, teaching medical students in the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and participating in medical missions to help the underserved.
