Welp, it's that time of the year again.
We're fortunate in that our company's seasonality coincides perfectly with the University's schedule and that each spring we are able to hire between 20-30 seasonal, student employees to cover the extra work booked during our busiest season. (We typically do 60% of our annual sales JUST within the summer months! 😲)
After a summer full of long days and arduous work, we typically have to say goodbye to half (or more!) of our seasonal staff who have made those long, summer days feel like a breeze.
Some go back to school full-time and plan on returning the following summer, while others move away to pursue a new adventure.
Either way, this specific time of year is usually spent reflecting on how grateful and appreciative we are of our employees. (The true 'spine' of our company!)

What a day! Adamantine Spine Moving DSM is delighted to be partnering with AHeinz57 Pet Rescue and Transport 🐶🚌 located in De Soto, IA. Yesterday we had a chance to learn their inspiring story, tour their amazing facilities, and of course play with the puppies 🥰 they have a goal of 1800 adoptions this year and we’re ready to help 🙌
Following each move, customers moving through our Des Moines branch will have the option of donating $10 from their move to AHeinz57 as well other other non-profit organizations. We do ask that customers leave a review so we can improve our service, while giving back to the community!

Starting off 2021 with a bang! 💥 Trip No. 0504 “4 Corners Anyone?”. One shipment from Waukee to Orlando, FL ☀️ combined with a shipment from Fairfield to Harbor Point, NC 🌊 loaded on our crown jewel tractor-trailer or “BLK trailer, SEMI1” in Spine lingo! After the 2 unloads we drove up to Beacon, NY to scoop a shipment heading to Tucson, AZ 🌵how did we pull that? The customer happens to have used us 10 years ago to move from IC to NY👏 She loved us so much that she wanted to wait until we were in the area so she could use us again!
This is the epitome of what we are building here at Adamantine Spine Moving! Providing such a high level of service from initial phone call to the crew driving away that someone would feel compelled to only use us in a cross country move 🙌🥰
Trip highlights thus far: DOT mandated 34 hour restart in Daytona Beach, FL and driving over/underneath the Chesapeake Bay from Virginia into Maryland 🤩

There's no denying it.
2020 has been a relentlessly challenging year filled with uncertainty and many, many heartaches.
Last February, we were in the early stages of planning to start building our very own warehouse and aiming to begin construction in March. We were also planning to expand our wings by opening an ASM branch in Des Moines.
By April, we were unsure if either would come to fruition (or if we would even still be in business by the end of the year).
With immense gratitude, we're beyond happy to announce that our facility is near completion (we plan on being moved in by the end of February!) and that our DSM branch is growing and thriving.
We honestly couldn't have done it without our crew, both behind the scenes and out on the job sites, who took each and every curveball with ease and compassion. And to our loyal and patient customers who have kept us movin'!
Coming out of this year with our heads above water feels nothing short of a miracle and we're truly grateful.
