This little guy got his checkup. Make sure your child does too! #CallYourPediatrician
We’d like to welcome Luke to our team at Adirondack Pediatrics. Luke is our new medical assistant who will be helping us clean and disinfect our exam rooms and equipment between patients to keep everyone healthy and safe.
In addition, we are continuing to ask everyone to call from the parking lot when you arrive for an appointment (sorry, no walk in visits right now). We will ask a series of screening questions, review our mask policy and direct you to the correct entrance to avoid congestion and people getting too close. If we don’t have a room ready when you call you may have to wait in the car briefly while Luke gets your room spic and span!
Please be patient so we can help everyone in a safe manner!
The Queensbury counseling center has some great resources to help our kids. Right now you can click on the link and hear Dr. Lauren talk about tips for keeping kids on a good sleep schedule while distance learning. Sleep is so important for growth, mood, attention and behavior. Get those kids sleeping so you can catch your zzzzz’s too!!

Our first outdoor flu clinic is complete! Please bear with us as we fine tune our new system. We will have more weekend clinics and we will be adding more flu appointments until everyone is immunized!!! Thank you to our awesome staff for putting in the extra hours and to our families and patients for doing their part and getting a flu shot!!
Patient Portals!
We are using our patient portal more than ever. It is a secure and safe way to share private medical information.
The link is a video of Dr. Kinsley showing you how to set it up or request a new login/password if needed.
We use the portal in the following ways:
- To communicate: non urgent matters, questions, progress on conditions, updates, etc.
- Send us documents: patient photos, school evaluations, screening documents.
- Receive info from us: Lab results (all COVID results are sent via portal), school excuses and other notes, info on upcoming events such as flu clinics
- Request medication refills and appointments
We are asking ALL patients/families to sign up for the portal.
It's easy! You do need an activation code from us. If you don't have one please contact us.

Happy Halloween from the snow people at Adirondack Pediatrics.
Happy thanksgiving!! The office is closed today so we can stay home and stay safe. There is a doctor on call by phone for emergencies. Enjoy your day!
Well, it wasn’t our usual holiday celebration but we still managed to have some fun dressing up at the office today. If you were in today or on a telemedicine visit and thought we all looked silly....you were correct!
We hope you all have a nice holiday. Please stay safe: wear masks and socially distance. We want everyone healthy for 2021!
We are closed for the rest of the day today and tomorrow 12/25. We are open again Saturday 12/26 for sick visits. There is always a doctor on call for urgent issues.
Our staff has started getting vaccinated against COVID-19! We are protecting ourselves so we can take care of our patients!
*we do not have COVID-19 vaccines on site, yet. As soon as we do we will be contacting eligible patients*

Ways to Reduce The Risk Of SIDS And Other Sleep-Related Causes Of Infant Death
Our area has recently seen an increase in SIDS related to bed sharing. While we recommend sharing a room with your infant, you should never sleep in the same bed (bed-sharing). Infants should sleep in his or her own crib or bassinet. The following video shows safe sleep techniques that are proven to reduce the risk of SIDS.
