Did you know that dental fillings are thought to have been around for over 13,000 years?
Tooth decay has been around as long as humans have. Scientists have found evidence of dental fillings being done many years ago in Italy. It was much different than modern dentistry though, as the earliest anesthetic wasn’t in use before 1846.
Did you know that tooth buds develop before a child is even born?
The substance that will eventually become teeth, form in the sixth week of pregnancy. The hard tissues appear around 3 to 4 months into fetal development. So even though a newborn baby has no teeth, baby and adult teeth are all ready erupt once the right time comes!

"Between the age of 10-13 I was a pretty good sprinter. Running the 60 & 100 yard dash. My parents turned down a coach who wanted to coach me for some bigger track & field events. Mom said no, as she didn't want me to loose my childhood."

Did you know that not everyone gets wisdom teeth?
Some people may get all four, just one or none! To the lucky ones that do develop them we almost always recommend having them removed. Being that there is usually not enough space in the patients mouth for them and the difficulty of keeping them clean.
