We have two families looking for Awake Overnight Caregivers in Cape Elizabeth and Cumberland.
Shifts are: 8pm to 8am
Certifications preferred (PSS, CNA or similar)
REQUIREMENTS:
*Must be experienced with Alzheimer’s and Dementia
*Must be able to stay awake, alert and ready to assist client throughout the night
*Must have a car and US Driver’s license
*Must pass background check and drug test
*We are a smoke free and drug free company
*Transfer assists and lifting up to 35 lbs may be required
*Be able to follow specific instructions in Care plan
*Able to work independently, be self-directed, good judgement and safe decision making skills
Job Description:
Provide non-medical companionship care and assistance, help with ADLs, personal care and hygiene, mobility assistance, prepare meals and snacks (breakfast),
Keep clients entertained with games and activities and assist with bedtime routine.
Documentation and reporting to a supervisor changes in health status.
