Who else is a big ball of anxiety? 🙋🏽♀️
I'm desperately hoping that today brings our country new leadership.
If you're anxious, you're not alone. Here are some tips to get you through the day.
I'm going to stay away from the news all day because my mental health matters. (Yours does too!) I encourage you to vote (if you haven't already) and then do something kind for yourself to help lessen those stressed-out feelings.
Alternatively, you can direct that stress toward driving your friends and family to the polls, ordering pizza for those standing in line, phone banking, or other politically minded activities.
Share what you're doing today to combat election stress and anxiety.

It is not enough to just dislike the disfunction found in some of your familial and/or community patterns. One also has to ACTIVELY LEARN to do something different.

Camp Kesem
October 27 at 10:32 AM ·
In support of our community, Kesem offers a free, online affinity group for BIPOC campers (Black, Indigenous, and people of color) ages 11 and older across the country. Sign up your camper(s) here: https://kesem.tfaforms.net/4638306.
A space to connect with Kesem community members with an additional shared identity, the affinity group will be led and facilitated by BIPOC Kesem staff members and counselors. Similar to "Cabin Chats," the meetings will feature guided, meaningful conversations directed by campers.
The group will be held virtually and can be joined either by computer, tablet, or call-in by phone for audio-only. Please contact laura.redmond@kesem.org with any questions.
