Are you informed on the recent tax reform passed by the Utah State Legislature? The overall gist: 0.3% decrease on income tax (which will most likely result in a property tax increase to make up the difference), increase in grocery tax of 3.1%, Sales tax on gas on top of the existing taxes, sales tax tacked onto service-based businesses - increasing cost of services for consumers. If you're a registered voter, come down to our office to sign the citizen referendum to get this issue on the ballot so YOU can vote whether you want these new taxes or not! We are here Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm.
