About

Have your shipping contracts reviewed to ensure you have the best in class shipping rates with your carriers. For over 28 years in the business and a team that has over 500 years of combined experience in shipping and logistics, AFMS brings this knowledge directly to you. Have a NO COST evaluation of your shipping contracts while we review your shipping data to determine if you are paying too much. We tell you what your carrier doesn't want you to know.

Our team of carrier pricing executives & sales executives will deliver a thorough and No Cost assessment, pricing review, and benchmark analysis to identify overcharged areas within your carriers contracts, including all accessorial add-on charges. AFMS can point out savings opportunities that even the most sophisticated logistics and transportation professionals miss or overlook.

Conduct a detailed price benchmarking study, identifying any savings opportunities that may exist. This process for our clients is VERY SIMPLE, and usually takes about two weeks to complete. We review 2-3 months of carrier shipping invoice data to determine cost saving opportunities.

AFMS ensures your company’s current carrier discounts are market competitive and in-line with other companies that have similar package characteristics and volume. We will review the analysis and savings opportunities in detail with your company.

On average, our results deliver savings of 15%-25%.

"3 Items You Need to Negotiate with FedEx and UPS in 2020" This past May, U.S. parcel shippers were hit with major price hikes from FedEx and UPS when the delivery services implemented domestic surcharges at short notice. UPS increased their surcharges on May 31 with FedEx close behind, increasing surcharges on June 8 to keep up with the competition. With the COVID-19 pandemic increasing the number of e-commerce shipments made, it wouldn't come as a surprise to see these surcharges jump up again soon. Oversize fees, delivery area surcharges, and accessorial charges are always prepared to increase. That being said, it's important to make sure your business isn't being taken advantage of during parcel contract negotiations. To help you avoid losing money, here are three items your business needs to negotiate with FedEx and UPS throughout the rest of this year. https://qoo.ly/379wcj #Shipping #AFMS #FEDEX #UPS QOO.LY Articles, News, & Blog - AFMS

We all have seen the shift from the major carriers trying to deal with capacity constraints and the residential surge. In addition, the onslaught of Peak surcharges and rate increases would make any shipper’s head spin. News of carriers going out to long time customers, both Commercial and Residential, delivering an ultimatum dictating volume limits, time constraints, and increased rates are becoming more commonplace.
