I have never decorated for Christmas because my sweet Momma did it for us so well.
The construction guys are here late to finish the bathroom floors, listening to jazz music. The back of the shop looks like an explosion. I just ate some leftover cookies, and I’m organizing garland and gazing at this twinkling tree.
And slowly, ever so slowly, allowing my tender heart to soften to joy when I think about her.
The dolls shown will be offered for sale at the upcoming Christmas Pageant (except for Annie Comfort Raggedy Ann. She’s just here for comfort.)
