May's pup is Rocky!!
Rocky is a sweet 12 year old boy. He came into the rescue due to his owner passing away. We don't know why he is missing his left eye but it doesn't stop him from getting around. He is mostly deaf but is very healthy and just happy to be with his people. Rocky would love to find his forever home to spend the rest of his life filled with love and being spoiled.

April's pup is LOU LOU!! #thatsweater
Who is going to be lucky enough to give sweet Lou Lou her forever home? She just celebrated her 8th birthday and loves the squeaky toy and hooves she received. Her greatest wish, though, is to have her own people, to be their only dog, and to reign supreme like the princess she deserves to be! She likes long walks on the beach - ok anywhere - and loves rides where she can check out the scenery. When she wants to give and get love, she sweetly puts her paws on your knees and gives kisses. She came to foster after being surrendered by her owner to Warren County Animal Shelter and has become buddies with a cat at her foster home. Unlike most of us females, she can stand to gain a couple pounds. Want the chance to fatten her up? She would do best with older, respectful children. Please let Kim Edmondson Rossbach know if you want to be Lou Lou's people. Her adoption fee is $200.

March's pup is LACY!! #thoseears
Lacy is a Boston Terrier, Jack/Parson Russell mix. She is 5 years old and has put on a little weight since coming to her Foster family, now weighing in at 22 lbs. She came to us because her owners moved to a place where they didn’t get permission to have dogs and the landlord was not okay with her being there.
Lacy is very well trained. She knows sit, go lay down, get down, shake, dance/twirl, and up. She is fully housebroken without a single accident in the house during her time with us. She does well in a crate but I suspect that she is trustworthy throughout the home. We haven’t tested this out, thought, as our Boston is crated. Lacy needs some work with jumping, pulling on the leash, and is a bit toy aggressive. I can take toys from her but she can be a bit of a stinker about sharing them. That said, she does play a mean game of tug of war with my Boston with a suitable toy! There is a lot of playful growling involved on both sides and it’s quite funny to witness.
Lacy is happiest laying next to you on a soft blanket with something to chew on. She is a big cuddler. She'll climb in your lap and demand that you pet her while giving you love and kisses. She has a big long tail that wags whenever she sees you and her whole body kind of wags with it. She is all Terrier in many ways; but a 5 year old, meaning that she has quite a bit of energy and likes to play for a while. Then she’s ready to chill. She’s always ready to go for a ride in the car, go for a walk, and work for treats.
She has kind of turned into my 13 year old’s dog so she does well with older kids. It took her some time to get used to my 1.5 year old Boston, who has a lot of puppy in her still and wants to play relentlessly. Lacy is a big love bug that is ready to meet folks who want to become her Furever family. If you are looking for a dog that isn’t a puppy and is fully trained with no real behavioral issues, Miss Lacy might be your girl!
