Are you struggling to understand people that wear face masks? You wouldn't be alone! Since face masks impede lip-read ability, many are now realizing their reliance on such visual cues to help them understand speech. If you or someone you know is experiencing challenges when communicating with people wearing face masks, an important first step is to have a comprehensive hearing evaluation. Get in touch with our friendly team today to schedule an appointment by calling (907) 522-4357. We have strict safety procedures for all in-person appointments to keep you, other patients, and our staff safe.🙏
Our team at Alaska Hearing & Tinnitus Center was delighted to help this lovely patient after she was allowed to leave her residence for a drive but couldn't get into any facilities due to a broken hip. Dr. Emily went out to her and took her EMI's in the van - the patient and her care team was thrilled!😊

The team at Alaska Hearing and Tinnitus Center has always put your needs first. As such, we’ve decided not to participate in discount third-party hearing aid programs. The reason for this is simple: the quality of the care that we provide could be compromised if we accepted a third-party arrangement. To find out what this means for you, take a read of our blog: https://zcu.io/qS1p

If you haven't already heard the news... It's Tinnitus Awareness Week!😃👂 At Alaska Hearing & Tinnitus Center, we want to use this opportunity to reach out to those in our community and beyond who may suffering from troubling tinnitus symptoms.
