Bringing collectively over 5 decades of Construction experience to the partnership AlbertSons is a family business performing remodel work as well as new construction. Our experience includes framing, siding, roofing, windows, doors, drywall, painting and many other related trades. We have the ability to staff for the big jobs or the little ones. We pride ourselves on finishing on time and satisfying inspectors. Our crew though based in the St. Louis area has performed work in many states including Florida, Alaska, California, New York and many in between.
Now a little story about our history------
AlbertSons is a company formed by the descendants of Albert Yount (1888-1982).
These founders are the only male descendants that carry Albert's family name.
Albert "Ab" Yount was a tenacious ingenious entrepreneur that often broke ground with his working ideas. He was the first among his neighbors to set up a generator system and run electric wiring into his home. A home that he built himself for his new bride by setting up an on-site sawmill. In this home he raised 6 daughters and 1 son. He, soul sourced provisions for his family as a family farmer providing beef, pork, poultry, eggs and milk. He tended an orchard producing apples, pears, plums, cherries and peaches. He worked a large vegetable garden that to this day is still cultivated by his descendant family. He pruned grape vines, tended to a strawberry patch and yearly produced maple syrup that was sought by people not only in his own neighborhood but also the surrounding counties. Upon the introduction of the automobile to his home area of southeast Missouri he was the first to set up a rural gasoline service station with his younger brother Jess. It is in this same spirit of ingenuity and creativity that we Albert's descendants, 1 great grandson and 3 great great grandsons, intend to conduct business in honor of our forefathers name and memory.
