About

The Cuyahoga County Community Mental Health Board is responsible for the planning, funding and monitoring of public mental health services. The board works with more than 30 agencies to provide health care services to people who suffer from mental disorders, such as depression and schizophrenia. Additionally, The Cuyahoga County Community Mental Health Board provides services to people with cancer and diabetes. The board operates a 24-hour hot line and is locates in Cleveland. It publishes a variety of newsletters on health-related topics. The Cuyahoga County Community Mental Health Board supports the Adult Consumer Advisory Council, which offers advisory services related to the needs of mental health consumers.

We're teaming up with Cuyahoga County Board of Health and A Vision Of Change Inc. to launch the Our Stories, Our Healing video series as part of an Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) project. This series will raise awareness that healing is possible through sharing the stories of community members who have overcome traumas and found healing. Mental health, substance use disorders and domestic violence are a few of the topics that will be explored throughout the series. The group putting this series together hopes individuals who tune in will walk away knowing that they are not alone in the traumas they have endured and that healing is possible at any stage of life.
