Nine years ago, a colleague of Charla Aldous found Lucy on the side of the road after giving birth to a litter of puppies that couldn’t be found. She was severely malnourished and abused, and staff at an emergency vet clinic were not sure she would make it. That night, he saw Charla at a political function and told her he didn’t know what to do with Lucy if she lived. Charla took one look at a photo of Lucy and asked where to pick her up. All these years later, Lucy is a happy and healthy pup. We call her our four-legged restraining order, Lucky Lucy Lou!
Brent Walker shared his extensive trial experience today as a panelist in DTLA’s case workshop. He, along with Chris Hamilton and Lisa Blue, coached members of the organization as they refined their presentation of upcoming cases.
Today, one of Aldous \ Walker’s former interns, Chris Goosen, stopped by for a socially distanced visit. Chris is currently attending St. Mary’s School of Law, and will graduate this year. We wish him the best of luck!
