Alexis Chesrow, M.D. spent her formative years on a horse farm in Indiana. She then did most of her education in Chicago. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Chicago and went to medical school at The Chicago Medical School. She completed her residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Department of Urology. Her fellowship in Urogynecology was completed at Cedars Sinai hospital in Beverly Hills, Ca. She has practiced since that time in Milwaukee, Wis.
Dr. Chesrow is fellowship-trained and board-certified in both Urology and Urogynecology (Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery). She is thrilled to bring her expertise in the personalized management of Pelvic Organ Prolapse and Urinary Incontinence to Monument Health.
She, as the Urogynecology Program Director, is excited to create a resource for the women of the community. The options for the treatment of Urinary Incontinence and Pelvic Organ Prolapse are many and can range from work with a trained pelvic floor physical therapist, medication, office based procedures, surgery and even clinical trials.
With all these options, Dr. Chesrow believes it is most important to focus on the individual patient and their unique needs. In addition to specializing in Urinary Incontinence and Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Dr. Chesrow also is happy to provide care for those patients with neurological disorders impacting their urinary function (Neurourology). In her free time, Dr. Chesrow enjoys hiking with her dogs, yoga, attempting to ski and traveling.
