Boarder of the Month: Oliver! This spunky kitten had the so much fun playing with all of our feline toys. He felt right at home during his stay with us. We all loved seeing his playful face every day during his kitty stay <3
STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS:
We all know it can be difficult to feed your feline fur babies when they are on different diets. It can even be a struggle when one cat eats at their leisure and the other is more of a vacuum for food 😸😼
Dr. Koppe faces these same issues and this is how she feeds her crew. They each have their own feeding station which opens up when it reads the corresponding cat's microchip number or collar tag. The brand she uses is "Sure Feed" and it sure has made feeding time a whole lot easier.
Boarder of the Month: Bentley. He loves hanging out on our soft blankets and getting head pets. Bentley is a very handsome boy and we would love to have him stay with us again!

Happy Halloween!!! Here are a few reminders for keeping the furry kids safe this time of year.
We would love to see your feline friends in their outfits for this spooky season 😸🥧🍁🐾🧡
Stay safe and ghoulie!
Staff Recommendation: Scratching Post
There are many things to factor in when picking the right scratching post. Some felines like the feel of a cardboard post while others prefer twine. A scratching post gives cats environment enrichment and can save your furniture as well.
Jessica's cat would always scratch at the corner of her bed frame. Nothing seemed to help the cat from scratching that particular spot until she placed a cardboard scratching post in front of it. Now, her kitty still goes to scratch there, but scratches the post instead of the tearing the bedpost.
Boarders of the Month: Lexie and Honey
Lexie and Honey have booked a few vacations with us over the years. They both have a spit-fire personality. The girls really enjoy their wet food, getting brushed and cuddling together. It is always a pleasure to have them with us over the holiday.
With the holidays coming, we thought this was a good reminder to share in case a new one is joining your household for the holidays ♥️😻♥️🧸

Hello please SHARE THIS and help me find my missing cat. She is a light orange in color with grayish/green eyes. She was last seen in north Las Vegas on moon hill rock ave. I am desperately searching for her I miss her and need her back home safely. Her brother has been looking for her, meowing, around the house. She is microchipped.
Hello January!! As we all try to start fresh in this New Year, please keep the following chart in mind. If starting ‘spring cleaning’ early, take note of the common household pet toxins to make sure they stay far away from households pets.

If your cat falls in any of these categories, please do not hesitate to call and schedule an appointment with one of our Veterinarians. Keno is a sweet tuxedo boy who loves to have his belly rubbed. Every time we visit him he is always rolling around and wanting all the pets <3
What kind of loaf or loaves do you have at home???
One of the best ways to keep your pet safe is having a microchip placed. Although this is not a GPS or locating device, when scanned it can be connected with your current information to allow safe return of your pet.
😻What to do if your indoor cat gets outside? 😻
-If your cat does have a microchip, immediately call and alert the company that they are missing.
-Always keep a clear current photograph of your pets so that if they do get outside or go missing you can make flyers to post in your neighborhood and at the local veterinary hospitals.
-Call or go to the local shelters, animal control and veterinarians to see if someone turned your cat in to them.
-Cats are very scent oriented. A number of cats who go missing will come home on their own if encouraged to do so. You can encourage this by placing their litterbox outside, putting shoes, worn clothes or blankets that may smell like their favorite people or their home outside. This allows them to track familiar scents back to their home.
Today is WORLD SPAY DAY.
Did you know that just one pair of cats and their offspring can produce 11 million kittens in a 9 year span? 11 MILLION from just ONE reproducing pair of cats. Please listen to our cherished elders and make sure to help control our pet population by having your pet spayed or neutered.
Please call us to discuss getting your pet in ASAP for their spay or neuter before Spring is upon us!!
Today is ‘LOVE YOUR PET DAY’
Did you know that our pets have the ability to improve our health. They can decrease our stress levels, lower our blood pressure, increase our physical activity, improve our recovery times when ill and increase our liifespan. Today we LOVE our pets. They deserve extra hugs and kisses today because of all that they do for us.

February's Boarders of the Month: Milo and Max!!!
These handsome boys were always so curious to see what we were up to and if they could get any snacks 😼
They loved playing with our butterfly string toy, using the scratching post, and belly rubs 💜
Dalton enjoys using his food puzzle for breakfast and dinner. He is Dr. Love's orange tabby who is a bit overweight. She uses food puzzles to slow his eating, and to keep him entertained. This way he can have a mini workout while indulging in his favorite treats. Food puzzles are a great and easy way to help stimulate kitties to lose weight.
Always there when you need them most 💜🐱💜🐾

During #NationalPoisonPreventionWeek, discover 🔟 common human medications that can poison your pet and how you can keep them safe by following these simple guidelines: http://bit.ly/2Qa33qt
PLEASE NOTE: While Tramadol and others on this list are also used in veterinary medicine, these are 10 of the most common human medication complaints as reported by the Animal Poison Control Center. As always, it’s best to store human medication pills in places where pets cannot access them and to check with your veterinarian if you suspect your pet may have gotten into your human medication.
