Just want to remind everyone to vote NO on Prop 25 that will be on the ballot Nov 2020. Without cash bail our state will look very different and MORE people will be discriminated against. https://stopprop25.com/ STOPPROP25.COM No On Prop 25
A great breakdown of what SB10 really is. Vote no on SB10 in Nov 2020! CALMATTERS.ORG Commentary: Referendum on SB 10: Vote 'No' to an injustice we can’t afford | CalMatters
There must be another reason they have voted to relieve this order. We all know CA is trying to become a no bail state with the SB10 law in Nov 2020. Maybe the state didn’t want this going on too long so that the CA residents don’t see the consequences of it, or maybe they started to see article after article being released from various states revealing how this policy just isn’t safe and is costing tax payers money! Whatever the reason, here is a brief article. Voted to undue the order 17-2 https://www.abc10.com/mobile/article/news/health/coronavirus/california-0-bail/103-b512e7c1-b2a9-4ea3-a88d-66e4759dd367 ABC10.COM California's statewide $0 bail coming to an end after Judicial Council vote

Vote NO on Prop 25 Kings County Deputy Sheriff's Association October 8 at 11:28 AM · Recently, we have seen an increase in shootings and violent crime in Kings County. We are certainly not alone. This week Fresno Police Department announced that in the month of September alone they have investigated 104 shooting incidents and 12 murders. Since the $0 bail and early jail/prison releases began in April, Fresno has seen a 126% increase in shootings. Gang violence has surged in their city and 80% of the homicides have been gang related. Make no mistake about it, the SOFT ON CRIME strategy that has been implemented in California is NOT keeping us safe. This fact has been proven time after time. We will continue to give our all to protect our communities. However, our hands are tied by the crippling pro crime laws in California which prevent us from accomplishing our mission. #softoncrime #highcrime #vote #catchandrelease #gangviolence
Vote NO on Prop 25 Kings County Deputy Sheriff's Association October 5 at 7:41 PM · If you ever needed a prime example of what “Zero dollar bail” is accomplishing- look no further. Over the weekend, 13 adult males were arrested for attempting to complete a sexual liaison via the internet with both male and female minors, who were actually Law Enforcement. Thankfully this State still considers this crime to be a Felony, and thus all were arrested upon arrival by authorities. Great news, right? Nope! 10 of these disgusting perverts were immediately released given the great “Zero dollar bail” and sent back out to continue to prey upon our youth. If this doesn’t send a message of what’s going on around here, what will? We simply must send a message to our State Legislators and vote NO on Prop 25 this election cycle. The zero dollar bail is dangerous and must end, as here you have a prime example. Catch and Release must end! #nobail #noonprop25 #softoncrime #catchandrelease #operationsafeteen https://www.yourcentralvalley.com/news/crime/undercover-operation-like-to-catch-a-predator-results-in-13-men-arrested-tulare-sheriff-says/
We got an official check mark! Our biz is here to stay!! Special thanks to all who voted NO on Prop 25!!!!!!!
Looks like cash bail is here to stay!!!!! Unless they find some “magic” ballots🙄
Got my All Aces Bail Bonds tee shirt on today for good luck! Vote NO on Prop 25!
Written by Sacramento politicians, Prop 25 eliminates the right to post bail for every Californian. Instead of having the option to secure your release through bail or a pretrial release program administered by the counties, Prop 25 requires the use of computer-based profiling based on algorithms to determine who can and can’t get out of jail pending their trials. These computer algorithms, managed by government bureaucrats, replace the role of judges in our current system. Imagine trying to help a loved one accused of a crime secure their release in order to answer the charges against them – and having their freedom depend on computer algorithms and predictive models that have been shown to be racially biased. Without a judge to set bail or the terms of release, important criminal justice decisions will be at the mercy of the bureaucracy and biased computer formulas. MARINIJ.COM California Voice: Prop. 25 is dangerous for victims and communities
“Well, this time, the Civil Rights Corps didn’t get so lucky even though we don’t blame for trying. The central theory that the remedy afforded to plaintiffs in these bail cases is the right to free bail has once again been rejected. Plaintiffs’ do have a right to be free from wealth-based discrimination during a limited time period when they are unable to post bail—but the remedy is a hearing before a judge to argue reduction or elimination of bail due to indigence or some other alternatives.” AMBAILCOALITION.ORG U.S. Court of Appeals for Fifth Circuit Affirms No Right to Affordable Bail - American Bail Coalition

This is an interesting article. We know that DV cases and accusations are way up due to the pandemic. It’s scary to think that a victim wouldn’t get justice because they don’t have physical evidence, like someone is supposed to know ahead of time?? A word to the wise, if you find yourself in a scary situation with your partner try to document as much as possible. Pictures, dates, other evidence.
