Its pretty obvious when the exhaust system on your car is bad, it makes a ton of noise. But when the exhaust system on your house is failing its a little less obvious, but 100 times more dangerous. This is the flue (exhaust pipe) for a house that is built into your chimney that is venting a oil furnace, oil soot is extremely acidic and eats through the clay pipe. So if you are unsure about the condition of your house exhaust system please give us a call and we can find out and replace if necessary

With everything going on All Cape Chimney Sweep will only be performing exterior work ( masonry repairs, chimney caps, waterproofing, ext) to avoid unnecessary contact with our customers. Being so, scheduling is weather dependent.

If the connection from your furnace too the chimney looks anything like this give us a call. Foam insulation is extremely flammable and should never be this close to the furnace pipes. Luckily we caught this before anything horrible happened. Give us a call if you know or expect you may have a similar problem.

Don't trust your plumber ( or plumbing inspector apparently) to know anything about your chimney. If you are replacing a heating appliance and it's going to be vented through a masonry chimney, get that chimney inspected. We came across a very dangerous situation today that could of easily been avoided if a proper chimney inspection was completed. If you have a questions or concerns about the venting of your heating system please contact us.

Little bit of a blow this morning in E Sandwich!!
Nice " A" vent chimney/ stove install this morning. I can't take credit for the great looking masonry but the large Hearthstone and double wall stove pipe make it look better in my opinion. If anyone likes what they see and wants one for there own feel free to contact us
