Expanding Integrative Medicine
We are very pleased to announce the addition of Mrs. Meg McArdle, N.P. to our staff. Meg is a seasoned Nurse Practitioner with 23 years of clinical practice as well as managerial work.
She has worked in primary care medicine and, for the last ten years, has worked in breast health as a certified breast navigator, helping women to achieve an excellent level of breast cancer care. She has an interest in Women’s Health and adds her skills to our practice to expand the area of integrative medicine, which is now one of the primary focuses of our practice.
Meg is enjoying getting to know our patients and is committed to helping achieve their health goals.
Our Philosophy
We believe in promoting physical and mental health and happiness. We provide a variety of tools ranging from the reach of the traditional medical/surgical practice to a more holistic approach in order to achieve a better balance and harmony in our lives.
Our main focus is to provide excellent medical care with a strong influence toward anti-aging medicine and improving our physical and mental health and sexual well-being.
Dr. Cagnes is a Board certified OB/GYN physician who has been providing medical and gynecological care to Cape Cod since 1999. In 1981, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Palermo School of Medicine, in Italy.
A graduate from OB/GYN residency in 1985, Dr. Cagnes practiced Gynecology in Italy until 1989 when she moved to the United States. Dr. Cagnes completed the first two years of a Family Practice Residency in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1994 and then she transferred to Rochester N.Y where she graduated from her OB/GYN residency in 1997. In September of that same year, she was appointed as a Clinical Instructor at the Vanderbilt University Medical School in Nashville, TN. and served in that capacity until 1999 when she moved to Cape Cod, joining Dr. Skinner’s Gynecology practice.
She has been a recipient of several awards and recognition, including "A Top Gynecologist" from Consumer Digest report since 2006. She currently still offers gynecological preventative and surgical care along with medical spa procedures at her state-of-the-art facility in Hyannis.
In 2006, Dr. Cagnes started developing a strong interest in cosmetic surgery and at that time she received extensive training with Dr. Pelosi in Bayonne, NJ. In June 2009, she completed her fellowship in Cosmeto-Gynecology, and since then has had additional training in a wide range of cosmetic and aesthetic procedures.
