To parents of children participating in online learning,
Well, the day is finally here. Back to school online learning starts Tuesday Sept 8th at 8:00 am. We have done our best to prepare for this new program by setting up a quiet area for students to work and extra staff to assist with them as needed. This is new to all of us so please be patient as we work out any issues that may come up. We are asking that children arrive no later than 7:45 so we can get the computer set up and logged on in time.
We will need you to bring the following with you Tuesday morning.
• Computer with charger – please have the computer fully charged before you arrive.
• Daily schedule and log on information – if you have this now and can email it to me, I would appreciate it. Send information to allstardaycare@live.com
• Supplies given to you by the school that students might need such as worksheets, books, or packets.
• Headphones
The center will provide
• A quiet area for children to work.
• A safe place to store their supplies. We will not be responsible for the computer and other supplies brought from home. Children that do not handle their equipment or any other child’s equipment responsibly will not be allowed to participate in the school age program with us.
• Internet access. We are not responsible for connection issues related to Mediacom.
• Breakfast, lunch and 2 snacks daily.
• Staff to assist children as needed.
Please remember this is new to all of us and will take some time to get used to. If you ever have any questions, concerns or suggestions please feel free to contact me.

Parents,
We received the attached notice on Tuesday afternoon at closing time. The city will be doing road work on S. Union the rest of this week. We will be open on Wednesday 8/26 with limited access to the driveway and parking lot. Please be patient and plan ahead for drop off and pick up. We will not have access to the parking lot at all on Thursday 8/27 and Friday 8/28 so we will not be open.

Parents,
The center will be CLOSED Friday September 4th for a Teacher In-Service Day. We will also be CLOSED Monday September 7th for Labor Day. Enjoy the long weekend. We will reopen on Tuesday September 8th to kick off the new school year!

Due to the weather moving into our area today we will be closing at 12:00. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up so that staff can get home before the weather gets too bad. If you decide to keep your child home today please let me know by phone 282-6516 or by responding to this email.
