Something to be prepared for!! U.S. Forest Service- Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest August 31 at 11:31 AM · It's official: yellow jacket and hornet season is here in SW Oregon! Which means, as you head out to enjoy the great outdoors, to be aware of what you can do to prevent getting stung, and what you can do if you or someone you are with gets stung. Most importantly, for the latter, carry Benedryl and, if you know you have an allergy, an epi pen! To all our valued clients, As so many of you know, the decision was made that we would be bringing clients in with their pets beginning July 6, 2020. We are so sorry to inform you that due to the recent concerns of the increase of Covid-19 and the new guidelines from the State Governor, we now have to postpone our desire to allow clients back into the building on a limited bases. We are truly hoping that this set back will only be a few weeks. We do completely understand with the summer weather coming, there is concern regarding hot days. We are so sorry for the inconvenience and as soon as we get the green light to, we will do so. In the meantime, if you have an appointment please take advantage of our misting stations. Thank you for your continued support and patience :)
To all our valued clients, Beginning July 6th, we are going to try and bring clients in at a very reduced limit. Here is our protocol that will be followed to assure the safety of our clients and staff. Please understand that we have strong concerns on many levels. Please work with us. We are trying to avoid being closed down. 1. We only have 4 exam rooms. There will only be 1 person per visit allowed in the hospital per exam room. You will still be required to call once you arrive for your appt from the parking lot. The staff member will instruct you at that time. 2. Masks are required to enter the building. No exceptions. If you don’t have a mask, one will be provided. If you chose not to wear one, your services will remain curbside only. 3. Once you make your way to the door, we will have a staff member there to take your temperature and ask you a few questions. You will need to sign a release form to enter the building. You will then be escorted directly to an exam room. 4. Once you are in the building, you will complete the entire visit while still in the exam room. This includes paying for your services and all medication distribution. 5. Should your pet need medical services that require them to stay, you will be required to sign consent forms and pay a deposit. You will then be given a time to return. 6. All services are required to be paid at the time of the services. We do not have payment plans, please plan accordingly. Please understand that this Covid-19 situation is a very difficult and uncertain time for all of us. We are trying very hard to continue to meet the needs of our clients and their pets. Please be patient, there could be long wait periods. Our staff and doctors are doing their ultimate best to help your pets. Should you feel the need to be less then respectful for any reason, we will terminate the services and ask you to leave. Thank you all for your continued support. Allen Creek Veterinary Hospital

Tough times for many. We appreciate those of you that have been patient and respectful as we move through these tough days. Oregon Veterinary Medical Association November 23, 2020 at 7:57 AM · Many veterinary practices have been operating with curbside service since the spring but it is now a requirement from Oregon OSHA for veterinary practices to provide service primarily through a curbside model, with limited exceptions. We know it is difficult not to be with your pet in the exam room. On behalf of our member veterinarians, we appreciate your understanding. Veterinarians and their staff are working hard to continue to provide care for your animals during this challenging time, and to keep the veterinary team and clients safe.
