Allen S. Anderson, MD is a cardiologist and the medical director of the Center for Heart Failure at Northwestern Medicine Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute, overseeing the areas of advanced heart failure, cardiac transplantation and mechanical circulatory support. Dr. Anderson’s clinical interests and expertise include the diagnosis and management of cardiomyopathies, heart failure from new diagnosis to advanced disease, and the management of heart transplant and ventricular assist device patients. He is a professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
