Alliance has had the honor of serving Aiden since October 2019. Aiden was referred to alliance in need of a cranial helmet. The cranial process is an eye-opening experience and our kiddos are always fun to be around since they are bursting with curiosity and want to know what is happening around them even though they cannot speak the words at that time. Aiden wore the helmet like a champ and was able to achieve his goal for rocking a great head shape with his diagonal difference below 4mm. This goal is huge because it is what we want our helmet patients to be in range for head shape. With the enormous amount of help and support from his parents and with them following the helmet instructions, it made Aiden’s goal that much more obtainable. Aiden has earned a ticket to our Goal Digger banquet on October 24th! Our office prides ourselves in seeing patients as people, not just patient numbers. We always look forward in celebrating every single goal achieved. Help us celebrate this wonderful goal digger by leaving your comments below. If you are interested in working with a company that makes your goals our goals, please call our office to set up an appointment. #Helmet-Proud #GoalDiggerAchievement #4EverInTheAllianceTribe
Alliance has had the pleasure in serving Jasmine since December of 2016. Jasmine came to Alliance in need of a prosthesis to help with mobility and functionality. Jasmine is not only someone’s family member, but she also holds the title as someone’s friend, a student, and a teenager just like anyone else. She looked forward to the day she could start driving as well as all the endless accomplishments she has ahead of her. Over the years, Alliance has had the pleasure in watching Jasmine flourish as an amputee while discovering her “new normal”. Jasmine has so much tenacity for finding ways to grow and progress in life. This year Jasmine became a goal digger by being able to walk to the store without pain. Anyone who can relate to being an amputee knows that being able to take painless steps is priceless and monumental. Jasmine has earned a ticket to our Goal Digger banquet on October 24th! We are live! Come grab a popsicle
We have had the pleasure in serving Bobby since July of 2019. Bobby came to Alliance in need of an ankle foot orthosis brace for stability. Originally Bobby was seen for his right side, but as the year went on he developed swelling and poor circulation in his left leg causing Bobby to need an orthotic device on that side as well to help provide an even balance for stability. Once he received the left brace combined with already having a right brace and wearing compression socks to help with circulation, he was able to achieve his goal and walk down the dock without using his cane. This is a huge “new normal” for Bobby, and he has now built up enough walking strength to no longer need the aid of his cane. This is a huge accomplishment for any patient needing to regain proper mobility and we are so glad to have gone through this journey with Bobby. Bobby has earned a ticket to our Goal Digger banquet on October 24th! Our office prides ourselves in seeing patients as people, not just patient numbers. We always look forward in celebrating every single goal achieved. Help us celebrate this wonderful goal digger by leaving your comments below. Patients, referrals, friends, and family, it is with great sadness we write to you today. Unfortunately, we have to cancel our annual Goal Digger Banquet for 2020. All of us at Alliance considered ways to host our annual celebratory event with minimal risk to those in attendance. At this time, we are unable to do so. In accordance to the guidelines for the State of Georgia, we will cancel 2020’s banquet and invite each and everyone of you to join us next year to celebrate 2020 and 2021. We have already begun planning this celebration and it will be one you won’t want to miss! **Patients, this letter is in the mail to you. It will further explain how we will still have a small gesture of gratitude and remembrance to be mailed to you, and the directions on how to ensure we have your correct information. If you have any questions or concerns, please email Rachael Auyer @ rachael@alliancepo.com or Jason Auyer @ jason@alliancepo.com Stay tuned as we post stories from the 2020 class of Goal Diggers. 122 in total!
Excited to start offering our amputee support group IN PERSON once again. If you would rather join via zoom please let us know when you RSVP.
Excited to sponsor a FREE CEU course for pediatric physical therapists. This is a great course that goes through different orthotic interventions specific to the pediatric population. It is a remote course so no need to drive anywhere! We look forward to "seeing" you there!
If you know anything about Kennedy, than you know this, her smile will light up any room. ⭐️Goal Digger Family of the Year is the easiest to choose. ⭐️The family that earns this typically has one notable quality. ⭐️🎉⭐️⭐️They are a strong unit. This family is exactly that, a very strong unit. ⭐️🎉Congrats Kennedy⭐️🎉 Thank you to: @ironhousecatering for the most delicious meal, @gotmagic_entertainment for the best entertainment, and @michelezakeriphotography for capturing these pictures. 👏🏻Jason, and I are extremely grateful for this night. It always helps us to remember why we started a business in the first place. ⭐️ #GoalDigger #AllianceTribe #AllianceP&
Goal Digger of the year event was tonight and mailing out these gems this week! We believe our Goal Digger Program helps everyone to become lasers opposed to lighthouses. We are laser focused on the goal right in front of us. We have so many patients that achieved multiple goals this year! #GoalDigger
Happy Veterans Day. Thank you to every military family that has served our country so well. We are so fortunate. Your sacrifices are noticed and felt!
The gang is all here ready to learn about tips and tricks through the winter month. Ice, slippery surfaces, and other potential challenges and how to navigate through them. It’s your time to share what works and what doesn’t. There will be two seasoned amputees available to discuss their insight with you. Whether you are fresh to your new life after amputation, or more seasoned, this event is for you! Thursday, November 12 @ 5:30pm in our Braselton location. This event is open to anyone living with amputation that wants to connect with others. Not just Alliance patients For more info please email admin@alliancepo.com
A special thank you to @nsbonds and @jasonwbonds to opening their home to us for our celebration. Thursday, November 5th we all pulled off an incredible surprise to celebrate, Ryan Roberts. Congrats to Ryan and his entire family, as he has been awarded, Goal Digger of the Year. Ryan was treated by the trauma team with North East Georgia Hospital System, after a nearly fatal motorcycle accident. Subsequently resulting in the loss of his left leg below the knee. Ryan set two initial goals and has achieved them both. Ryan has taken all 9months of his recovery and made it his point to make the most out of each day. He has made the distinct decision to live life, and live it to the full. Ryan credits his recovery to the care of his amazing wife, Jenny, and his entire family and friends that have stood by him. We are so grateful to be a small part of this amazing story of recovery and hope. Please feel free to congratulate Ryan in the comments for his well deserved award!
This is why we do what we do! Congrats!Trudy⭐️🎉 Trudy Kannenberg is at Alliance Prosthetics and Orthotics. November 4 at 2:11 PM · Braselton, GA · When going through the process of getting my orthotics for my right foot and ankle, I was asked to set 3 goals to accomplish in a 3 month span of time. Today I knocked out my 1st goal of working in the yard for a couple of hours without pain. All glory to God and gratitude for the people who used their expertise to help me so much. 🥰
