Dr. Ramsey specializes in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at UCLA. She originally moved from Texas to complete her medical training here at UCLA and has since stayed on as faculty focusing on advanced lung diseases.
She is a member of the UCLA Lung Transplant Program and helps to evaluate and optimize patients before and after their lung transplant. When she is not in the lung transplant clinic, she attends the weekly UCLA Interstitial Lung Disease clinic seeing patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, autoimmune-related lung diseases, sarcoidosis, and hypersensitivity pneumonitis. Since these diseases can be complex and uncommon, she finds it important that her patients are educated about their particular disease process.
Dr. Ramsey also works in the intensive care unit, caring for critically ill patients with common medical issues and those with end-stage liver disease who are awaiting liver transplantation.
She is board certified in internal medicine, critical care medicine, and pulmonary disease.
