Dr. Eversgerd is proud to bring Allure Dental to Mandeville. A general practitioner with interests in family, cosmetic, and CAD-CAM dentistry, she is passionate about her profession and enjoys continuing education that keeps her current on the best evidence-based dental care. Dr. Eversgerd is certified by Invisalign and has ten years of experience with the state-of-the art CEREC system for single visit ceramic crowns and restorations.
Dr. Daniela Eversgerd has spent most of her life in dentistry. She spent her childhood helping and learning from her mother, a successful pediatric dentist. Dr. Eversgerd was born and raised in Brazil, educated at an American school, and spent much of her life traveling between Brazil and the US. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She immediately entered into SIU’s well renowned dental school where she quickly moved to the top of her class and received multiple awards from the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. She completed her dental education in 2002 graduating at the top of her class. Dr. Eversgerd currently is a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana State Dental Association, Northlake Dental Society, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon-Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Eversgerd has also practiced dentistry internationally in her native country Brazil for 3 years. There she established her general and cosmetic dental practice and was the preferred dentist for the US Consulate and several other International Embassies. She was also the first dentist in Northern Brazil to provide CEREC restorations to patients.
Dr. Eversgerd prides herself in her attention to detail and thoroughness. She believes that educating her patients about their dental health is a top priority. Dr. Eversgerd likes to present all of the treatment options available to her patients and helps them choose the one that is best for them. She is also very focused on making the patients feel relaxed and comfortable. Dr. Eversgerd is fluent in Portuguese and proficient in French and Spanish. She has volunteered her services multiple times with dental education in primary schools in the US and Brazil. She has served on Health and Safety committee for schools, trained school nurses on Dental Emergencies and raised funds and resources for underserved communities in Brazil with the International Women of Recife Business group. She served on the Board of Trustees for the American School of Recife Brazil for 3 years. Dr. Eversgerd is a resident of Mandeville and is an active member of Our Lady of the Lake Church. She is married to Dr. Jayson Eversgerd and they have three children: Sofia, Antonio and Daniel. In their free time, the Eversgerd family enjoys traveling, sports, exercising and cooking.
